THE PROCESS

How do you transform your bags into wearable
works of art?
Each bag is created from a vintage book that is
deconstructed and then transformed through a
detailed process. Each series – Vintage Print, Glitz
and Glamour, Broach, Faux Animal and Nature
Series is created through different layering and
artistic methods. Rare materials, appliqués, crystals
are used to transform each bag into a work of art.  
How long does it take to create one bag?  
Each clutch, purse, tote bag is handcrafted from
beginning to end; so most designs can take up to
a week to produce and at times 4 weeks to set,
depending on the type of bag.
What types of materials are used on the bags?
All rare materials used for the Signature M Handbag
collection are selected from merchants all over the
world. Imported Italy papers, Asian silks, works of
Independant photographers, etc.
If each bag is an original work of art does that
mean every bag in the collection is different?
No bag is the same?
Yes, each bag is different because it is handcrafted
using rare materials. You have an opportunity to
purchase your own version of that limited edition or
couture handbag that is truly one-of-a-kind. For
example, the Geisha Bag from the Classic Style Series
is a limited edition bag click here to see the bag. The
Geisha Bag is adorned with an vintage Geisha Print
that is in limited quantity.
Are these bags made in a factory in another
country?
All parts of the bag are assembled and framed in our
design studio in Brooklyn New York . Each step of
the way quality and finish is reviewed, maintaining
by our very strict standards.
Which bags is limited edition, couture or limited
quantity?
Please click here to view the handbag gallery. Signature
M bags such as the Geisha Bag have limited edition or
only one bag designed on the description of each bag so
buyers are aware that large quantities are not available
and each piece is unique.
Do you design custom handbags for weddings or special
events?
Yes, we design handbags for bridal parties and couture
purses and handbags for special events. Please contact

Do you design any bags that are not made from books?
We recently launched the "Every Day Series" which consists
of canvas bags decorated by hand. The Barbie G bag from the
"Every Day Series" is now available, please click here to view

ORDER INFORMATION


Where can I purchase a bag from the Signature M
Collection?
Our products will be available in the future at several fine
specialty boutiques worldwide. At this time, please click here
to view the Press Page which lists boutiques that carry the
Signature M collection or the click here on Events Page to
see future shopping events.
Can I purchase a bag online?
A purchase can be made by clicking here and viewing the
Jewelry or Handbag Galleries. Then select the item you are
interested in purchasing.
What kinds of payment are accepted?
SignatureM.com accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and Bank Debit Cards via Pay Pal. If you wish to pay
by check or money order, please click here for further information.

If I am purchasing an item, how will I know when my order
is complete, and where can I see detailed information about
my purchase?
 

Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an order
confirmation via e-mail within 24 hours regarding the details
of your purchase. You will also be able to log into Pay Pal and
review the records of all your purchases and transactions .  

How many days does it take to receive ordered items?  
It will take apprx. 10-15 business days. Please allow time for
credit approval, address verification and order processing when
calculating delivery time. Allow additional time for limited edition
items and/or custom made items.
What if I made a mistake when I entered my payment
information on Pay Pal?
 
If your billing address information does not match the address
on your credit card account, your order will not process and
you will receive a message that your credit card was not
approved. Please make sure to provide the correct information.

What are the shipping costs?  
The shipping costs are indicated by Pay Pal when your
order. If you order directly through Signature M, your
shipping fee will be on your order confirmation email.  
What are your shipping methods and do you ship
Express?
 
UPS Ground and USPS Post Office Regular Mail.
Delivery schedules are estimates. Actual delivery
times may vary depending on ship-to locations.
When estimating package delivery time, please allow
for credit approval, address verification and order
processing. We do not ship Express at this time.
Due to UPS Ground rules we cannot ship to PO
Box addresses.  
Do you ship outside of the USA or to Canada ?
Yes, fees will vary based on country for more
information, please email us at

and indicate
location.
How many days do I have to exchange an item?  
You have 15 days to exchange or return an item
from the date received. All returned items or
exchange must be sent with a completed
return/exchange form. For your convenience,
the return/exchange form is enclosed with every
purchase. Failure to include this form will delay
return processing.  
If I return an item, will I receive a refund?  
We will be glad to refund or exchange any new
and unused merchandise with an original Signature
M receipt or mail order packing invoice.

Do I have to pay for shipping exchanges?  
Yes, shipping costs to exchange items will be at
the customer’s expense. We recommend that
customers have packages insured to assure
delivery.
   
How To Order -
By Credit Card:
  • Simply click on the item you wish to
    purchase and then click on the add to
    cart button at the top of the page.
  • The shopping cart is provided by Pay Pal.
    If you have purchase items on other
    websites via Pay Pal all you have to do
    open the check-out sign-in your e-mail
    address and password at the bottom of
    the shopping cart.
  • Signature M accepts all major credits as
    well as debit cards.
  • If you have forgotten your Pay Pal
    password visit their website, click here
    to have your password sent to your e-mail
    address.
  • If you have not used Pay Pal in the past
    during the check-out process you must
    create an account. Simple provide Pay Pal
    with your billing and shipping address as
    well as the credit card you will be using for
    your purchase.
  • Pay Pal is a secure credit card payment
    method used by many online businesses.

  • Once you complete your purchase, you
    will receive an order confirmation via
    e-mail within 24 hours regarding the details
    of your purchase. You will also be able to
    log in to the service and review the records
    of all your purchases and transactions.  
By Check or Money Order
If you're paying by check or money order, please
send an e-mail to sales@signaturem.com with the
product name and the quantity you wish to purchase.
Your order will be confirmed via email within 12
hours by a Signature M consultant. The email
confirmation will include your total payment fee
(includes shipping and tax charges). You will also
receive a shipping time frame.

1) Include your shipping and/or billing address, phone
number and e-mail address within your order (please
note business and residential address – no PO BOX).

2) Once your check or money order has been received
by mail per the instructions provided by Signature M
via e-mail your order will be shipped as indicated by
Signature M. Shipping time frame depends on the type
of order and if item is in stock. If item is on back order
you will be notified and you will receive an estimated time
frame for shipping.

and quality of our product. All handbags and jewelry are
designed to reflect an heirloom quality; a product that you
will cherish and pass on to loved one as you would a
work of art.

our design and production process through review,
development and refinement. Signature M and its
employees are committed to providing the best customer

Warranty, Exchange and Care
Signature M, Inc. is committed to developing fashion
accessory products of superior design, performance
and value. We pride ourselves on developing an ongoing,
lifelong relationship with you, our consumer. Due to our
extreme confidence in our products and our commitment
to deliver only the highest level of service, we have
created the most consumer-friendly warranty.

Please note that you are responsible for any freight
charges incurred when shipping your bag or accessory
to us. If we are unable to repair your product we will
replace it with a similar product (cannot guarantee exact
match since some pieces are one of a kind and certain
materials used are in limited quantity or rare).
Our warranty will cover the repair of all functional
aspects of your Signature M product for life. We will
continue to repair your bag even if you decide to
purchase a new Signature M product with the latest
performance innovations. Naturally, our warranty
does not cover cosmetic wear or cleaning, nor does
it cover the replacement of lost or stolen bags and/or
its content. Also not included is damage inflicted by
disregarding the care instructions.
Remember to follow the care instructions included
with you Signature M product carefully. Your
Signature M, Inc. product is a work of art so treat
it as such. All logos, designs, names, images, concepts,
processes and technology are the branded and
protected property of Signature M, Inc. Trademark
and Copyright infringements will be prosecute.
To Care for your Signature M bag use a slightly soapy
damp cloth and gently wipe clean. Your hand bag is
water resistant but not water proof. Please do not
submerge in water. Extreme temperatures can also
be damaging to your hand bag. Store in a dry cool
environment. Take care not to over stuff your bag.
Since your handbag was once a book made from
natural materials (paper) the shape can warp if overly
strained and may start to pull apart. If shape starts to
shift, stack beneath a few heavy books as you would
on a book shelf to regain normal shape.
